Not sure how to measure your stockings? Christmas stockings of any type, style or design are all measured from the upper left corner of the stocking cuff down at an angle to the stocking toe. This measurement will give you the length of the stocking. This is the standard measuring procedure for all stockings. Of course, the width of the stocking is measured across the outside top of the stocking cuff from left to right. So, if you are trying to match the size of an older stocking to a new stocking following these tips will help to ensure a great match. Remember the Christmas Stocking styles and sizes change every season. So, you might not find the exactly same style of stocking you are looking for but these tips will help you find the size you are looking for.

Measure for Santa Hats First!

MEASURING FOR SANTA HATS
To find the correct size hat that you will need you must first find a cloth measuring tape or long string that you can later measure on a yardstick. Using the tape or string measure around the person's head. Do not pull the tape or string to tight, but allow it to rest comfortably around the head. Determine the length you just measured with a ruler or yardstick. Then simply choose the correct size from the size chart. The Santa hat sizes are the same for each of the different styles offered on this site. The small size below is for children. We no longer carry infant or toddler hats. Adult Santa hats would be sizes medium, large and extra large. Currently we do not carry extra large hats. The "One Size" fits all that we carry are for children as well as adults. The "One Size" might be a little big on children but it is better to have a hat that is a little big than it being to small.
